Le&Co Restaurant Bar Cafe in St Albans was buzzing with energy as we hosted over 100 local businesses from Melbourneās western suburbs for a night of networking, entertainment, and fun. This event marked the official launch of the highly anticipated 2025 St Albans Lunar Festival, which will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2025. In past years, the festival has drawn crowds of 60,000 to 90,000 guests, and weāre gearing up for another unforgettable celebration in January as we welcome the Year of the Snake!
The evening was filled with excitement, from live performances to giveaways, and most importantly, the chance for local entrepreneurs to connect and strengthen ties within our thriving community. Special guests MP Daniel Mulino and Cr Thuy Dang helped kick off the celebrations by cutting the ceremonial cake, and we were honoured to have their support as we look forward to the biggest Lunar Festival yet.
This yearās festival holds special significance as we also celebrate 50 years of Vietnamese migration to Australia, a milestone that highlights the rich cultural diversity of St Albans. As MP Daniel Mulino said,
āThe St Albans Lunar New Year is one of the highlights of the calendar... and the 27th festival, organised by the dedicated St Albans Business Group, will be particularly important.ā
